There is a small expedition of ten Falklands War veterans returning to the battlefields that they fought on in 1982 as young Welsh Guardsmen.  Their charity walk will be a 90 mile tab from San Carlos to Port Stanley, raising money for the Welsh Guards Charity.  They will be filmed as part of a BBC documentary which will be released in June as part of the 35th Anniversary of the Falklands Conflict.

The expedition team are looking for sponsors and would be grateful for any donations to their charity.  Below is a photograph of 4 of the expedition at the top of Pen-Y-Fan 3 weeks ago after a practice tab.  They are leaving on 22nd February for an emotional return.

Our Story…

We are an expedition of 10 Falklands War Veterans, re-visiting the battlefields that we fought on in 1982 as young Welsh Guardsmen.  For most of us it is our first visit back in 35 years.  We will be walking from San Carlos to Port Stanley in memory of and to pay our respects to our brothers we left behind.
