CARDIFF V MANCHESTER CITY BIG MATCH PREVIEW

Cardiff City welcome Premier League leaders Man City to the Welsh capital today as they look to stun Pep Guardiola’s side and reach the fifth round of this season’s FA Cup.
Cardiff last met Manchester City in the FA Cup in January 1994, when they knocked out their top-flight opponents as a third-tier side (1-0 in the 4th round).

Prior to that meeting, the Lancashire side had won each of their previous four clashes with Cardiff in the FA Cup – three of which had to go to replays before being settled.

Cardiff City have won just one of their previous seven home games in the FA Cup (D1 L5), last winning against Colchester United in January 2015 (3-1).

Pep Guardiola faced Championship opposition in last season’s FA Cup when Man City played Huddersfield – they drew 0-0 away from home, before winning the replay 5-1 at the Etihad.

After a run of four successive defeats, Cardiff City are now unbeaten in their last four games in all competitions (W2 D2 L0).

The Cardiff City v Man City 4th round FA Cup clash Kicks off at 4pm today, Sunday 28th January.
